The Week ahead for Shooters
The weekend ahead offers prone shooters two choices.
Northwestern Gun Club hosts it annual 9/11 Memorial Mid Range matches. Saturday will see competitors firing four 20 shot sighters matches at 300 yd using both iron sights and scopes, then on Sunday, it's another 80 shots in 4 matches at 500 yds --Iron and scopes. As in all prone matches, there will be an F-class to contest.
Minneapolis Rifle Club will be the place to be on Sunday for prone 300m on Electronic targets, and I believe there are 3P matches also.
OTC Service Rifle shooters can shoot a fun CMP 50 shot service rifle match Saturday at the Bald Eagle Sportsman's club.
If you happen to be up near Fergus Falls, try the OTC match at the Wahl Rifle club.
